DIAMOND Consortium Meeting in Berlin – Highlights from Day 2

🌟 DIAMOND Consortium Meeting in Berlin – Highlights from Day 2

Last week, the DIAMOND Empower partners continued their work in Berlin with a full day dedicated to collaboration and shared reflection on the project’s next steps.

The day began with a focused workshop on the Living Labs.

⇒ Partners worked together to define concrete goals for the experimentation phase and began mapping the first activities that will take place across several European regions.

The discussions helped translate the Living Lab concept into practical pathways that can support local learning, participation, and innovation.

After the lunch break, the group took part in a short interactive activity that encouraged partners to connect informally and learn more about each other’s roles and experiences. It was a light moment that added warmth to a productive day.

The afternoon continued with a second workshop session

⇒ Teams developed an initial timeline for the upcoming experiments and identified what resources, coordination, and support will be needed as the Living Labs start to take shape in early 2026. The session brought clarity to the work ahead and helped partners align their expectations for the next phase.

The day closed with a shared reflection on priorities and next steps before the consortium enjoyed a walk through Berlin’s Weihnachtsmarkt, a pleasant way to end an intense and collaborative two-day meeting.

We look forward to continuing this momentum as DIAMOND moves into a crucial stage of development.
