Shaping the Future of Inclusive Employability: DIAMOND Consortium Advances the MOVEᴱ Platform
Collaboration is at the heart of the DIAMOND project. The consortium gathered on 14 July 2026 for a virtual meeting to review progress on MOVEᴱ, the project’s digital learning platform.
Hosted by CETIC – the Leader of WP5 – Development, Validation and Facilitation of MOVEᴱ, and responsible for deploying, maintaining, and running our virtual learning platform, MOVEᴱ, co-developing micro-credentials, new learning formats, and the development and application of the AI model – partners finalised several important technical integration parameters.
By connecting technical development with practical implementation, MOVEᴱ will help translate DIAMOND’s research into accessible and personalised employability support for educators, policymakers, practitioners, and future beneficiaries.
Preparing MOVEᴱ for Launch
Partners reviewed the Moodle deployment, initial course uploads, Living Lab activities, and the data structures required to connect MOVEᴱ with the project’s ᴱGROW Index.
This integration will enable the platform to go beyond hosting training materials. MOVEᴱ is being designed to support and monitor learners’ skills development while providing personalised pathways towards employment.
Empowering Grassroots Organisations & Micro-Credential Development
A major milestone in this deployment is the creation of a specialised “Grassroots Manager” role within our system. This dedicated setup gives our local partner organisations the autonomy and tools they need to easily manage their own training delivery, upload localised content, and register users directly.
As we prepare for this launch, our partners are working closely to ensure the system is both scalable and highly rewarding for its users.
Grassroots organisations are currently mapping out their course volumes to optimise platform capacity, while EMiT Feltrinelli is aligning with CETIC to integrate formal micro-credential specifications. This means that every milestone a learner achieves on MOVEᴱ will be backed by high-quality, structured certifications that carry real weight in their journey toward employment.
From Code to Community: Hands-On Testing and Capacity Building
Over the summer, consortium partners will test MOVEᴱ to ensure that it is intuitive, reliable, and ready for wider use.
Partners are already uploading initial course content and identifying practical or technical questions. Training activities, including planned in-person Excel modules, are also being tested before being converted into Moodle-compatible formats.
Dedicated group sessions and expert Q&A workshops will support this process. The aim is to ensure that grassroots organisations and educators feel confident managing the platform and supporting learners from the moment MOVEᴱ becomes operational.
Mobilising Communities: Summer Outreach and the Living Labs
The consortium is also preparing to engage future beneficiaries through the DIAMOND Grassroot Living Labs. These collaborative sessions will bring real-world perspectives into the project, helping ensure that MOVEᴱ responds to people seeking either a fair starting point or support when re-entering employment after disruption.
Under the coordination of Universidad de Burgos, the roadmap for these interactive labs is already moving forward. Over the summer months, partners are actively connecting with local stakeholders and participants to map out engagement and build local interest.
Written guidance will support facilitators in delivering the sessions consistently. Introductory outreach will begin over the summer, followed by the first Living Lab workshops in early September.

The Road Ahead: Key Milestones
With a major official project deliverable due at the end of October, the consortium is moving forward with an ambitious and structured timeline:
- Late August – Early September: Release of the first MOVEᴱ test platform version.
- Early September: Kick-off of the Living Lab workshops.
- September 8: Next consortium coordination call to evaluate platform feedback and operational readiness.
By linking rigorous technical development with active grassroots engagement, the DIAMOND project continues to build a sustainable, scalable ecosystem for inclusive employment across Europe.
